A tourist couple at the counter of a Hôtel de ville somewhere near Paris. She addresses the employee behind the pane and speaks broken French: "Aweh wuh ün schambre sillwupläh" (Meaning: avez-vous une chambre s'il vous plaît ?). He sneers at her self-conscious and at the same time ignorant attitude by imitating one of her last spoken sentences: "Just leave it to me, honey! I can speak French! I'll get us a room!" The man behind the counter of course is perplexed. For a "hôtel de ville" is not a city hotel in France, but a town hall. (2009).
