Popular political pushover: Ring-a-ring-a-roses, combined with right-pocket-left-pocket game. Chancellor Gerhard Schröder is starring as gentil organisateur: He collects the truck toll from HGV, gives a small relief into hands of the taxpaying twit, but which now must pay higher prices for the goods transported. The trucking companies of course raise their freight rates in order to compensate the cost surplus stemming from truck toll, and that comes through to consumer prices. To preserve the good mood during this quite silly game the political entertainer starts singing a funny song: "Euro, Euro you have to walk / from one hand to another / oh how lovely / oh how nice / no one is allowed to see you" (2004).
