Station No. 6 of "Kapitänsweg"/ captain's path, which is to lead tourists and visitors to beautiful spots of the town of Flensburg. At each station a plate shows images and texts on history and present within the perimeter of the information panel, on the one side in Danish language, in German on the other. The idea is basically correct. Unfortunately not thouroughly thought through, because the ravages of time know no mercy, also for these signs. And after a certain time an expiration condition is reached, which must be indicated as a "point of no return" where the city of Flensburg can be grateful, if tourists stay away only from Kapitänsweg. Who likes to see such dirty and unreadable signs yet? The sticker on the left post, which assures that Nazis are not welcome here, surely compensates some of the bad impression. But will it be sufficient to allow a blind eye to brown streaks a few inches away? (Photo as of 2012).
